Jonah 3 - The God of Second Chances
The Word of the Lord came to Jonah a second time. This time Jonah went to Nineveh to proclaim God's message. The people of Nineveh humbled themselves and repented, and so the Lord relented from his judgement. Our God is the God of second chances.

Jonah 2 - A Prayer for Salvation
Jonah prayed to the Lord his God from the belly of the fish. God heard Jonah's prayer, and he answered him with salvation.
Jonah 1 - Prophet on the Run
Jonah was a prophet who ran from his calling, but God relentlessly pursued him. Jonah's disobedience was highlighted in the way that even superstitious sailors were turning to God and trusting him for salvation.

Acts 28:17-31 - The Gospel to the End
The Book of Acts ends abruptly because the church is meant to continue living out what was started in Acts. The last chapter of Acts shows us how Paul continued to preach the gospel to the very end, and we must continue sharing the gospel until Jesus comes again.

Acts 28:1-16 - God Moving in Malta
When Paul shipwrecked in Malta, you would think that was the end of the storm, but Paul was bitten by a snake. The Lord mercifully protected Paul, and it leads to him being able to share the gospel and pray for healing for the natives of the island.

Acts 27:27-44 - Shipwrecked
Paul's journey to Rome was interrupted by a shipwreck, but God gave a special promise to Paul. The ship would be lost, but there would be no loss of life for anyone on the ship.

Luke recounts the dangerous and difficult journey to Rome, so that Paul could appear before Caesar.


Acts 26:19-32 - The Help That Comes From God
Paul was able to live boldly and bravely for Christ, because he knew that he had the help that comes from God to enable him to do so. We have that same help available to us both in the gospel and in the presence and goodness of God in our lives. That help is found in giving yourself to Jesus as your Lord and Savior.

Acts 26:1-18 - When Salvation Happens
Paul spoke to King Agrippa about what happened to him when he encountered the Risen Christ. It's incredible what happens in our lives when Jesus saves us!


Acts 25:1-27 - The Gospel on Trial
Paul continued to stand before kings and rulers, and he even appealed to have his case heard by Caesar. Paul understood that it wasn’t just his life that was on trial - it was the life of Jesus, and message of the gospel that was on trial. Paul was confident that the truth would prevail.


Acts 24:1-27 - The Judgement to Come
Paul appeared in court before Governor Felix, but he would not make a decision about Paul, or about Jesus. We will all appear before God as our judge in the resurrection of the just and the unjust. And the question will be - what did you decide about Jesus?

Acts 23:12-35 - Protected for a Promise
Jesus promised to Paul that he must testify in Rome. We see how God providentially protected Paul for the fulfillment of that promise.

Acts 22:22-23:11 - The Lord Stands By
Paul knew that trouble awaited him in Jerusalem. With so much trouble going on around us, it's easy to get discouraged. The Lord stands by us when we get discouraged by the troubles in this world.

Acts 22:1-21 - Paul's Testimony to the Jews
Paul had the opportunity to share his testimony with a crowd of zealous Jews who had just tried to kill him. Paul could relate to them, having once been a zealous persecutor of the church himself.

Acts 21:17-40 - Not According To Plan
Paul arrives in Jerusalem and meets with James and the elders of the church. They come up with a plan to appease the zealous Jews in Jerusalem, but things don't go according to plan.
